What we make, and why

Every chapter starts with a question: what will you actually wear? We prototype in the studio, wear the samples for a month, then cut the smallest run that makes sense. There is no seasonal markdown theatre because there is no excess to mark down.

Aboufunny began with a simple idea: clothing should be worn often, repaired rather than replaced, and made by people we can name. We think of it as something that accrues value: a coat that knows your route, a knit that has been to three winters, a name stitched inside the collar.

“Make less, but make it worth keeping. The rest is noise.”— Ines & Tomás, founders

Where it's made

Repair, don't replace

We repair Aboufunny pieces for the life of the garment. Send us a note with a photo; we'll quote any work and cover the return shipping on repairs within the first year. Personal embroidery is available at any time, not just at checkout.
